CANCER RESEARCH COLLECTION

The following members of the club took took part in a collection for Cancer Research on the 26th,27th,& 28th of June at the Morrison's Supermarkets East Kilbride

John Cardno, Leslie Irvine, Ben Miloudi, Roddy Shanks,George McGraw, Brian Wood,Eddie Robertson, Archie King David Brown, Ray Porrelli, Andrew Ferguson, Ian Macpherson, Frank McLuskey,Henry Doig, Ian Craig Ray Porrelli, John McCafferty Iain Wiseman, Alan Jenkinson. With John Morning & Alan Rae on standby a great effort by our members. Well Done & Thank You all

The money that was collected was counted by Eddie & Rina Robertson who made the grand total to be £2620.49 this was duly bagged by two very tired counters who then tried to make their dinner. But all in all a well worth execise by all concerned and a great start to the new Rotary Year 2009-2010

EK Rotarians made themselves available on the weekend of the 4th-6th Dec and what a magnificent achievement when they stood up to the unkindly weather to gather in £3009.32 from the wonderful customers going into and out of Morrisons stores in East Kilbride.

The Rotarians who gave of their time which enabled the club to collect such a magnificent sum were, George McGraw, Brian Wood, Jim Moretti, Barclay Wales,John Cardno, David Brown, Andrew Ferguson, Ben Miloudi, Archie King, Douglas Douglas and Leslie Irvine Edwin & Rina Robertson counted the part of the collection

Here we have the only picture taken on the coldest weekend of the year showing John McCafferty & Alan Jenkinson doing their stint at Morrison’s. The Club gathered another £2104 from the 26-28th Feb 2010.
